Is Sublingual Immunotherapy “Ready for Prime Time”?
This published editorial is in the peer-reviewed journal, Chest. The author concludes, "In summary, this is the first metaanalysis to demonstrate significant efficacy in the use of SLIT in children with asthma. The outcome of current ongoing studies should determine if SLIT is approved by the Food and Drug Administration and is 'ready for prime time.'” http://www.chestjournal.org/content/133/3/589.full
